The Homeopathy Sketch

The nice thing about having a narrow readership of scientific and sceptical thinkers, is that you can take it for granted that they know their Python. So many thanks for all the positive comments on my previous post.

At the risk of over milking what seemed like a popular idea, I thought I’d take advantage of the Python boys once more in honour of homeopathy awareness week that starts today.

Oh dude. You've seriously excelled yourself. The vaccine denial bit was genius... actually, the whole thing is. You should do a redub of the original and put it on youtube.

Totally LMAO while ROFL, and probably PMSL too at one point.

Abso-fuquin-lutely astounding!

Like Huxley, I don't know I did not think of this myself!

I hereby officially rank thee with Darwin himself.
You may now arise, Sir Crispian.

"This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.'
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day"

May heaven forfend the day that I deny the propriety of the real head of a household!

Your good lady wife may rest in placid composure, by discovering my most sincere assurances that I am, in fact, giving the piss, not taking it.

I remain, sir, your most* humble** servant***.

I am glad I returned to your blog, after wondering if you had made / found anything as win as your previous python pisstake. Clearly you have. I'm glad to have helped convince you that doing more pythonisation was a good idea.

Hey Crispian!

Just wondering if you used to work at ImagoQA in the early noughties? If so then we were work colleagues.

Your Monty Python Redux has made it all the way down to little old NZ. Check out the following link http://www.sensingmurder.co.nz/regfrm3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1982.

Funnily enough the person posting it is an out and out believer in the paranormal and thinks this was done by the original Pythons LOL!

Hi Grae,

Thanks for the comment. Yes I did indeed work for ImagoQA between 2000 and 2004, although I spent most of my time out at Bristol working on the A380 and writing music reviews for ISight.
