Brian Cox and Neil deGrasse Tyson both credit Carl Sagan for where they are today. So why no Carl Sagan Trump Card? I know for a fact several other people in your cards would say a Carl card is long overdue.
We're only doing current skeptics at the moment (i.e. living) - but I'm sure in the future an extension to the set consisting of Dead Skeptics may appear.
Pointing a satirical and bogey stained finger at woos and faith-heads. In fact, general piss taking of the unenlightened who prefer dogma and irrational beliefs to the scientific method for determining the truth. With the occasional attempted poignant bleat.
If you’ve come looking for my album reviews, then you need to head off to Crispian’s Album Reviews instead.
Inspired by the glowing quotations adorning Jack Of Kent’s blog, of which I am a big fan, I have decided to echo a few choice quotes I have received for this blog:
“However glowing the quotations adorning my site, they are but nothing to the sheer boundless admiration I have for the great man Crispian Jago himself." Jack of Kent (Blogger)
"Hey, I LOVED your simpson's cards!" Adam Savage (Mythbuster)
"Crispian Jago may be our single greatest weapon against nonsense that exists when it comes to the public. He’s hysterically funny, with a laser-sharp wit. When most of us are grinding our teeth and fuming, he is responding with humor that cuts right through the garbage and exposes the fetid underbelly of antiscience nonsense like chiropractic." Phil Plait (Bad Astronomer)
"That is glorious and you are a genius." Ariane Sherine (Writer & Atheist Bus Campaign Organiser) Re: Reason by Richard Dawkins
“It's really nice to have someone appreciate what I tried to do. Thanks!” Marcus Chown (Writer, Broadcaster & Cosmology Consultant for New Scientist) Re: Quantum Theory
“Could you not be doing something a bit more useful?” Victoria Jago (My Wife)
"more mirth from the indefatigable Cornish git" Schroedinger99 (Blogger) Re: Reason by Richard Dawkins
“On second thoughts, maybe I was more impressed than I should have been” Chris French (Co-Editor of The Skeptic (UK) and Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths College) Re: Shitoscope Reading
“Crispian Jago's very excellent blog.” Neil Denny (Presenter of little Atoms) Re: Top Of The Pods
“that amused the heck out of me.” Tracy King (Skepchick extraordinaire) Re: TAM London
“If I had kids they'd be going nowhere near that place!” Anton Vowl (Blogger) Re: Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm
