  3. As for the cherry, there is Russian expression, which can be considered as a partial equivalent of English term "cherry picking". Look at here:

    I say "partial", because this Russian expression ("klukva razvesistaya" - i.e. "spreading/branching cranberry" ) means simply "bullshit", a ripping lie, i.e. it is more strong equivalent. Maybe more exact its translation is "bogus" ;)
